intensity perfectly complements the burgeoning wine region. Whether it's a day at the farmers
markets, a visit to a regional produce outlet or a meal at one of the many quality restaurants and
cafes, there is something sure to satisfy even the fussiest of palates. Wagyu sausages, hand crafted
cheeses, fine chocolates and world-renowned Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon are just a sample of
the epicurean delights that await.
For those willing to travel further North the World Heritage Listed Naracoorte Caves awaits for a true
adventure in spectacular surroundings. The park was made a World Heritage site in 1994 for its
500,000 years of extensive fossil record, unrivalled in any cave system in the world. Visitors are able
to join a journey of discovery through a breathtaking network of underground passages and spacious
chambers, with technology also allowing remote viewing of a bat colony that lives in one of the caves,
creating a true ecotourism experience.
